Is there ever going to be equality between Workspace accounts and personal accounts?
Using Gemini, as a workspace user I am unable to edit images. As a workspace user I am unable to use the Storybook Gem and then share the content produced, simply because it is a workspace account.
This is super restrictive for paying clients.
In my experience over the past dozen years or so, it’s not unusual for Workspace to lag 9-12 months behind consumer Gmail accounts on many features, especially in cases where it’s the “latest and greatest.”
And yes, there are also unfortunately cases where they simply don’t release consumer features into Workspace (like YouTube family accounts, or Android Auto), for reasons that no one really understands.
But in this case, I bet those features will come to Workspace in around a year (ish).
