Add Personal Intelligence to Workspace accounts

I am the owner, administrator, and sole user of a Workspace account. Apparently, the Gemini Personal Intelligence feature is restricted and disallowed for Workspace accounts. Since stored background information to be applied to chats is available in other AI products including ChatGPT and Claude, I request that an administrator option to be added to Workspace accounts to enable Personal Intelligence.

Since you are looking for a specific administrative toggle for “Personal Intelligence” similar to what’s in ChatGPT, the best way to get this in front of the product team is via the official feedback loop:

  • In the Gemini interface (gemini.google.com), click on your Profile Icon or the Help (?) button and select Send Feedback.

  • Explicitly mention that as a solo Workspace user, you want the option to opt into Personal Intelligence features while acknowledging the trade-offs in data handling.

Thanks for the suggestion. But there is no help or feedback option available. I used Gemini to research this issue. Here’s what it said, “Based on your screenshots, it appears that the “Send Feedback” option is indeed missing from the standard menus in your Gemini Workspace interface. This is a known issue for some users on Google Workspace (business or school) accounts.” So, as a Workspace user I am unable to send feedback about the lack of features for Workspace accounts. Google really needs to clean up their Workspace account support.

Sorry. I forgot this was a Workspace account. You should be able to raise a support request through your admin console. Tell the assistant you want to “Submit a Feature Request for Gemini.” This creates a documented ticket that gets categorised by the product teams.

I tried that approach and went around and around in circles. Gemini kept leading me to pages which were blank or places where buttons didn’t exist. Even thought it knew I had a Workspace account, it would misguide me and then say “Oh. Right, that page doesn’t exist for Workspace accounts.” Finally it told me I had to chat with help. After going through two agents and waiting an hour, they told me all I could do was post a request in the developer’s forum.
