Unable to Scroll When Editing Conditional Formatting (More Than 15 Rules)

Hello Looker Studio Team,

I would like to report an issue related to Conditional Formatting in Looker Studio.

When a table contains more than 15 conditional-formatting rules, the settings panel does not allow scrolling. This prevents me from accessing or editing the remaining rules at the bottom of the list.

This issue occurs consistently, and it makes it impossible to manage larger sets of formatting rules, especially for detailed financial or analytics tables that require many conditions.

Could you please review this behavior and enable full scrolling inside the Conditional Formatting panel? This functionality is important for advanced reports.

Thank you for your support, and I appreciate your assistance in fixing this problem.

Best regards,

I do not have a solution, but I am also experiencing the same issue. I hope to see this bug resolved soon!

Thank you for confirming — I’m glad (and sorry) to know I’m not the only one facing this issue. Hopefully, the Looker Studio team will prioritize a fix soon since it really affects usability when working with complex reports and multiple rules.

Let’s hope we get an update on this soon!

  • Have you found a solution, or are we condemned to stick with only a few rules?

Unfortunately, I haven’t found any solution yet. It seems the issue is on the Looker Studio team’s side — and so far, they haven’t taken any visible action to fix it. We’re basically limited to a few rules until they address it in an upcoming update.

Let’s hope they respond soon.

Similar problem - would love to see when there is a solve/workaround. perhaps something like zooming out?
