I have a date control on 3 pages. Each page has its default date range set to “Last month”. I want the date control to apply across all pages, so I set it to report-level.
However, once I do that, the visualizations on each page still show “Last month” and don’t respond to the report-level filter.
Is the page-level default date range overriding the report-level date control?
If so, what’s the best way to make the date control apply across all pages?
I think you might have misunderstood ‘page-level’ and ‘report-level.’
Page-level: Displays the data module only on the specific page. If you apply a page-level filter, it will affect only that page.
Report-level: Displays any module or filter across all pages in the same placement. If you apply a report-level filter, it will affect every page.
Regarding your issue, I believe you need to adjust the date option in the chart setup to ‘Custom’ => ‘Auto.’ This way, it will change automatically when you modify the ‘date range control.’"
