Prototype app shows 11 monthly users after correcting a user’s email address

Hello AppSheet Community,

I am looking for guidance on the correct way to handle a prototype app that currently shows 11 monthly users, although only 9 users are currently authorized to access it.

One former user no longer has access. In another case, I accidentally granted access to a person using the wrong email address. I noticed the mistake and replaced it with the correct email address on the same day. Both email addresses belong to the same person, but they were counted as two different monthly users.

As a result, the monthly user count temporarily reached 11, even though the app currently has only 9 authorized users.

I understand that AppSheet uses a trailing 30-day usage period and that prototype apps have a 10-user limit. I am not trying to bypass this limit; I would like to understand the correct and compliant action to take.

Should I wait until the removed email addresses disappear from the 30-day monthly user count, or is it necessary to deploy or upgrade the app immediately to avoid an interruption?

Is there an official procedure for handling an accidental email-address correction like this?

Thank you for your guidance.
