Logging off Gemini AI in IntelliJ

I installed Gemini AI Code Assist in Intellij Webstorm.

I logged into a GCP account and realised I needed to log into another account.

Even after removing and reinstalling the plugin, it still shows the old account, and there is no way to switch to or log off from that account in the plugin.

I would appreciate it if someone could help me log off the plugin’s existing account.

I tried clearing Cache no luck.

Here are some workarounds you can try:

  1. Disable the Gemini AI plugin: If you’re using a plugin that integrates Gemini AI, you can disable it in IntelliJ’s settings to stop using the model.
  2. Close IntelliJ: Closing IntelliJ will automatically terminate the connection to the Gemini AI API.
  3. Restart IntelliJ: If you want to ensure the connection is completely reset, restart IntelliJ.
  4. Check for updates: The plugin developers might have added logout functionality in a recent update.
  5. Contact the plugin developers: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to the plugin developers for assistance or you might need to check the plugin documentation.
  6. You may submit feedback or report an issue in your IntelliJ IDE, go to Tools > Cloud Code > Help / About > Submit feedback.

I had the same issue and spent so much time on it, its ridiculous. But the solution is actually very simple. There is a teeny tiny icon of the plugin in the right bottom corner of the IDE. Just click on it and you’ll find the Log out option at the bottom of the appeared drop-down menu.

@aihgii I am facing the same issue, but couldn’t find the icon. Could you please help with the IntelliJ version that you are using and share the screenshot to refer?
