The Verification centre flags “Homepage requirements — Your homepage URL is unresponsive” (Last reviewed: 11 Jul 2026). Our nginx access logs show exactly what happened: 1. On 11 Jul 2026 at 21:30 UTC, requests from Google IP range 66.249.74.x fetched (URL Removed by Staff)/` and robots.txt, received HTTP 301 (our standard HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect), and did NOT follow the redirect — no subsequent 200 from those IPs. The checker then marked the page “unresponsive”.
2. Earlier the same day (08:59 UTC), the regular Googlebot search crawler followed the same 301 and received 200 — the page renders fully.
We have since reconfigured the site so the homepage returns HTTP 200 over plain HTTP as well (verified externally; HTTPS also returns 200). The page is public, requires no login, and links to the privacy policy and terms of service.
We have never received any Trust & Safety email (checked all inboxes, including spam), so we cannot follow the “reply to your email thread” instruction.
Could you please re-trigger the homepage review or escalate to the Trust & Safety team? Thank you.
Update: after fixing the HTTP 301 issue, the checker re-reviewed today
(12 Jul). Our logs show it fetched the homepage and the privacy page
successfully (HTTP 200, full content, UA “Google”, 08:22 UTC) — so the
“unresponsive” issue is resolved. However, it now flags “Your homepage
does not explain the purpose of your app”, even though the homepage
contains an explicit “What is Oxarai?” section near the top describing
the platform’s functionality and how Google sign-in data is used, with
Privacy Policy and Terms links. We have now made that section even more
prominent (proper H2 heading). Could the Trust & Safety team take a
manual look? Thank you.
