Hi Community,
I am looking for advice on how to escalate a technical issue regarding the Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer exam.
The Technical Issue: During the launch sequence, the Secure Browser flagged a background process (“Safari”) and provided a “Close App” button. I utilized this button, and the software verified the process was closed and allowed me to proceed to the Proctor.
After completing the room scan and receiving verbal clearance from the Proctor to start, the system immediately triggered an “Auto-Suspension” even after I had previously used the “Close” button on.
The Discrepancy:
-
Google Support: Stated the Proctor halted the exam for security reasons.
-
Kryterion (Vendor) Support: I obtained the chat transcript where they confirmed: “The system suddenly auto-suspended your exam.”
It appears there is a sync issue where the Secure Browser’s “Close App” feature does not fully terminate the process, triggering a false positive immediately after the exam releases.
Request: Has anyone successfully resolved a “false positive” auto-suspension where the logs prove the Proctor cleared the candidate? I have the vendor logs proving it was a system glitch, but I am unable to get Tier 1 support to review them.
Any guidance on how to reach a Program Manager or submit these logs for technical review would be appreciated.
