Getting something went wrong when hitting Get Recommendations

Hi Team,
We created a generic recommendation App which is associated with a data store, but we are seeing the following error, “Failed to get recommendations, please contact Google support”.

Please let us know if there are any solutions regarding this.

Hi @PremKolli ,

To help you better on this, could you provide the following information:

  • The specific step where you’ve encountered this error
    • Does the behavior happen when clicking “Get Recommendations”?
  • Confirmation if the number of documents is more than 100

Also, could you share the link of the documentation that you’re following?

Thanks for the response. I tried to run a sample app that uses generic recommendations and was able to successfully get the list of recommendation documents. There’s currently no reported outage that could be causing this. To isolate its possible root cause, you may try recreating your datastore and app.

If the issue persists, you may reach out to Google Cloud Support for further investigation as the issue could be project-specific.
