Hi,
I have run into an issue were I need access to certain projects/services in my company’s environment. The person who previously maintained our Google Cloud has left, and I am an unable to access any of their previous work.
I have tried using the Policy Troubleshoot, but it is telling me that I do not have permission to troubleshoot the Policies. I have also tried giving myself the Owner role per the documentation: https://cloud.google.com/iam/docs/understanding-roles?hl=en#basic
Is there anyone who I can contact to elevate my access? We have the Standard Support tier.
Thanks
Hi @zblarson_cc ,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
- You need access to Cloud Run services, but the previous owner left and you lack permissions.
- Contact a current owner for direct access, or reach out to Google Cloud Support for verification and potential permission grant.
- Consider alternative channels like Resource Manager or Organization Administrator if necessary.
- Prepare evidence of your role and clearly communicate your needs to Support.
- Google prioritizes security, so verification might be involved.
Remember, there are various avenues to explore, and reaching out to Support is always an option for official assistance.
