Urgent: Need Assistance to Restore Owner Permissions on Google Cloud Project

I accidentally removed the owner permissions from my account, which has resulted in my inability to access and manage my Virtual Machines (VMs) and other resources within my project.

Details of the Issue:

  • Project ID: tbc-data-system
  • Project Name: TBC Data System
  • Account Affected:
  • Date and Time of Incident: 2024-07-18 17:30:00 (GMT+7)

As a result of this incident, I am unable to perform critical administrative tasks, including accessing my VMs and managing other essential resources. Unfortunately, I do not have any other accounts with sufficient permissions to restore the owner role to my account.

I kindly request your urgent assistance in restoring the owner permissions to my account or providing guidance on how to regain access to my project. Your prompt response and support in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it is impacting my ability to manage my cloud infrastructure effectively.

Hello @linhnd ,Welcome on Google Cloud Community.

Did you’ve configured organization maybe? If yes, you should have access or contact to your Organization Admin, which could reenable Owner permissions. If you have Google Workspace in place, which is connected with Google Organization, you should be able to login to Google Cloud by using Google Workspace Super Admin account, thus you should be able to reenable your Owner permissions.
