I have an AppSheet app currently in prototype/testing mode on the FREE plan.
The app requires user sign-in. It currently has only 6 unique users per month, according to Manage > Monitor > Usage Statistics.
I invited a new test user, who would therefore be the 7th test user. When she tries to open the app and signs in with the Google account that was explicitly invited, she gets:
“Something has gone wrong! – Error fetching subscription”
The app’s deployment check also shows:
“Invalid subscription plan: User signin not allowed with the FREE plan.”
However, the app is still in prototype/testing mode and has fewer than 10 test users.

Could you please confirm whether this is expected behavior for a FREE prototype, or whether there is an issue with the account/app subscription status?
I can also provide the Request ID displayed on the user’s error screen.
