I am using Google AI Pro (5TB) in my personal Gmail account, and I have a separate business workspace account (I plan to leave it soon as unemployeed).
Some functions seem to be restricted for personal Google accounts (gmail). Here’s what I found for some moments:
- Code block(aka triple-quote in markdown) (URL Removed by Staff)
- tasks (workspace’s assignee information cannot be viewed in personal accounts)
- variables(no menu, no new variables…) / some smart chips
- some building blocks (templates)
Some of them seem cosmetic to me and I think the team may be forgetting about them (no mentions at workspaces pricing/features matrix…).
I don’t think this topic is closely connected to Workspace for developers, but there are clear differences between account types, such as not including code blocks when loading markdown files(not recommended in file import dialog, but importing via workspace account works fine fwiw), so I strongly suspect that there will be the same behavior on the API side.
I believe there are no other public official community to post this topic, since the google workspace support group is for workspace “admins”.
