My app is currently blocked with the error “Your app is
blocked because a plan update is needed.”
What happened: I was swapping users on my free plan (removed
one user, added another). Due to the 30-day rolling user
window, both were counted temporarily, briefly reaching 11
users.
I have now confirmed the app has 10 or fewer active users.
According to AppSheet’s official policy, temporary limit
overages should not result in blocking - apps “continue to
run without interruption” except in cases of “egregious
violation.”
This was a brief, accidental overage, not an egregious
violation. Could you please help unblock my app?

Of late, there are many posts where the user count exceeds 10 resulting in app blocking.
Then they approach you and then subsequent corrective action takes place.
May I request you to evaluate a soft limit of say 7 or 8 users. As and when the user adds this count, please display a warning message that the user is reaching near the limit and the account will be blocked the moment it exceeds 10 users if the app is not deployed. There can be a permanent warning message in the editor for such an app as well when the app creator adds 7 or 8 users for the non deployed app.
I believe this will go a long way in reducing the need to help the users in a manual manner to unblock.
