App blocked because a plan update is needed although subscription is active

Hello,

My AppSheet app suddenly stopped working.

App Name: (PII removed by staff)
App ID: (PII removed by staff)

Error message:

“Unable to fetch app definition.
Your app is blocked because a plan update is needed.”

However:

  • My AppSheet Core subscription is active.
  • Payment status is Active.
  • Current balance is $0.
  • The app is deployed.

I already verified billing and there are no unpaid invoices.

I can access the editor, but the application cannot load and sync because it appears blocked by a licensing/subscription issue.

Could someone please check whether there is a billing or licensing issue attached to App ID (PII removed by staff) and help reactivate it?

  • The issue started after a recent billing/payment problem that has already been resolved.
  • Mobile users cannot sync because the app shows:
    “Unable to fetch app definition. Your app is blocked because a plan update is needed.”

I can provide screenshots of billing status and account information if needed.

I can confirm that your account has been unblocked as I have applied a workaround for you so that your application functions as per the purchased license. It might take some time to get reflected but keep us posted once the issue gets resolved.
