If you’ve already been on the Google Skills platform for some time, for example you took part in Cohort 2 of Arcade 2025, then your account will already have a fair number of Skills Badges attached to it. So what should you do now? Create a new account, or is it fine to sign up with the old one? And do you have to subscribe again if your using the same account as last year?
Hello @Yugali ma’am please reply to my post that I have not received my previous Arcade cohort 1 July tier swags, I mailed them printo document service but they were not responding me, they only give me a order I’d with my gmail I’d nothing else. Please ma’am take prompt action regarding this courier service.
Yes, you have to create a new account/use which is not use for google cloud and you have to subscribe with that account. All process start from beginning.
Hey, is it necessary to use a new Gmail ID to participate in the Arcade 2026 season, or can we use the same email ID that we used previously and received swag from? If I use my old Gmail ID, will there be any risk of not receiving swag or other benefits?
I’ll give you a brief about it as you know that labs do not change and stay the same as previous once so like there is no new content to learn for old players so if you try and complete those labs that you have already completed you want read any point that is why you have to make a new account so that you can learn and play those labs again and gain points

So last season I joined at the end of October and have completed only arcade games since then and reached 26 points, so for the new cohort do I need to make a new account? I assume my old account would work just fine, no? As I have not done much of the skill labs?
Hi @Yugali , I am a newcomer for this skillsboost arcade and honestly I’m truly excited joining this cohort, but I’m facing a few problems with a few labs this cohort that stops me from completing them smoothly, here is the list of labs that I find not beginner friendly or having some serious problems:
these labs I find it challenging and did not give clear instructions: “Configure Cloud Buckets with gsutil for Load Balancing & Fault Tolerance” from basecamp, “Configure Cloud Storage Bucket for Website Hosting using gsutil” from trivia week 4, “Manage Cloud Storage Lifecycle Policy using gsutil” from trivia week 4
and one serious issue I find from the lab “Monitoring Multiple Projects with Cloud Monitoring” from level 1 game where I cannot find the project 2 id which I should create a vm for the project 2 as the first step of the lab,in which, when I open the project picker to select project 2, the project 2 is not in the “All” section, which stops me to proceed to next step completely. This issue i find it serious and please consider address these issues asap, thank you!
ps: I’m not sure if I’m posting this issue in the right place here as I’m posting for the first time, so, I’m sorry if any inconvenience caused.
You are right about everything, there are guides and when I asked these doubts in the groups, they said there are some issues and we should complete other tasks meanwhile they resolve it
Hopefully this time atleast they learn from the previous cohort and also ig due to last time there won’t be much participation this season ig so I hope we will get better prizes
same here, searched online and asked in groups, no solution for now, just hoping the cloud team fixes these issues asap bcs I dont want to waste my credits for these labs
