Tried to send report to email but it’s not working with nto much details of the error, email is my own and all the contents are left blank but clicking send now doesnt do anything, other looker studio dashboards seem to have no issues being shared from my machine
ditto. i’ve checked some looker reports created under a different google account, and those are being sent successfully daily, so it’s not a global issue.
yes - we found that creating the scheduling under a different ‘editor’ worked (at least for now). just weird that random users were affected. perhaps there was an update, and it affected anyone who was the current schedule owner.
Facing the exact same issue, and its impacting business. Requesting Google to propose a fix and/or detail the reason for the error, so we can plan accordingly. Else, we need to look at prospective migration away from Looker to other tools.
I am experiencing the same issue across tens of scheduled reports. Nobody seems to know why this is happening. Have some of you already tried to upgrade to Looker Studio Pro? If so, are you still experiencing problems with scheduled reports even as a Looker Studio Pro user? Or did the upgrade do the trick?
Several users are experiencing this same issue with scheduled reports. The best way to get Google’s attention is to vote for the issue in the official issue tracker.
Same problem here. I’ve tried to change the report owner to other mail account and it worked for a few days, but now, also new mail account cannot send the reports. I think I’ll move to other tool… It’s a pity, because I love the tool, but if reports cannot being sent by mail… It’s not worthy
The issue seems to have gotten resolved just as suddenly as it precipitated.
It has left many of our customers who were using these scheduled reports very jittery and they’re seeking an explanation as to what actually transpired.
Would appreciate the relevant Looker Studio team to issue a formal update so we can convey the same to our own stakeholders as well.
The issue has resurfaced again. Scheduled emails have stopped again all of a sudden without any explanation. This issue is causing a lot of issues for customers who are dependent on these scheduled reports, hampering our reputation and by extension Google’s as well. Request the Looker Studio team to remedy this issue permanently.
If you have a PRO account, have you tried to contact Google Cloud Tech Support? I tried several times to upgrade my Looker account to a Pro account but with no success.
By the way, does anyone know the correct procedure to get a Looker Pro membership?Thank you!
