Unable to Send Email Error

A day ago i stopped receiving looker studio reports.

When troubleshooting, i tried the send now button and got an error saying “unable to send email”

I have another looker account which is working fine. It seems to be this account specifically with an issue.

How do i fix troubleshoot or fix this?

If someone from looker support can please follow up as soon as possible.

Hi @plabs , thanks for your post.

Have you checked your Spam folder? There is currently an issue where some Looker Studio reports are being sent straight to Spam folders. If this is your issue as well, can you please add a comment to this post for us to track and keep you updated?

Regarding the send now issue, there can be several factors that may be causing the email not to be sent. The Schedule automatic report delivery documentation page has a very detailed troubleshooting list.

thanks for the follow up but spam is not the issue and everything on the documentation does not apply to me.

everything was working for years up until yesterday.

Something changed on the software side. not on my end.

This has nothing to do with spam. the email is not being sent by Looker.l It gives an error instead.

I have other looker accounts with other emails which are working fine.

So something specifically with my account is blocking emails from being sent.

How do i address this?

I am having the same issue. I am unable to send reports from one account. But I tried from another old account, as plabs above said above, and I am able to send out a report. I’m not able to switch accounts so a fix to my current account is important.

+1 … Me too… It was working fine… suddenly on 16 Nov it stopped working…

As you can see there are many people with the same “unable to send” error issue which started on the same day for all of us.

Can someone in google support please follow up and determine the cause and provide a fix please.

this is very important for my business.

This is not a spam isse. Almost all my client scheueld email repotrs stopped sending over the weekend here in Australia. When I go to manually send the email I get this error: “Unable to send report”.

There are now multiple reports of this bug in the community. Can Google please look into this ASAP. I have over 20 reports sending daily and my only option is to download the pdf and send manually.

Yes, I agree, this is not a spam issue, because the report is not send at all. If I click Send in the Looker, its says right away that “unable to send”.
It seems like the problem is spreading. I have used several scheduled reports. First failed one report, now every one of them. My colleague has no such worries.

Same for me. There are no errors in the report. I can download it without any problems. I can share a link to it without any problems. BUT I cannot email it. I get the same error that everyone is experiencing, “Unable to send report”. I tried deleting the schedule. I tried editing the schedule.

No one from google even reply… Are there anyone from Google looker team even here???

can someone from google at least acknowledge there is an issue and they are working on it? what’s the point of this forum if noone from google even pays attention to it?

Hello. Same here. Since 22/11, no report has been sent, even though nothing has been changed on them and they’ve been running for months with no problems.

We’ve had the same issue as well for the past few days.

I am experiencing the same issue where the reports will send from one account but not another account. Please fix asap.

Same here in France, tried to change the sender, worked for a day then stopped. Can you do smthg about it ?

Hola, tengo el mismo problema, desde el 28 de noviembre no se envían los correos de todos los informes que tengo y tampoco funciona desde la opción “Enviar ahora” de programación de envío. Por favor reportar qué error tienen y solución, gracias de antemano.

Mine started sending again on 11/26.
