the “Send Email” task works for the first few attempts, but if you send emails consecutively, they stop being received partway through. Checking the monitor shows no error messages.
Of course, it is not classified as “spam” either.
Please clarify what you mean by “send emails consecutively”.
Have you checked the Automation Monitor for any errors?
AppSheet has recently aggressively limited email generation. Please contact Support for help with this.
Was this announced somewhere? I don’t see any official information.

Thank you for your reply.
I believe the issue I’m experiencing matches what others have reported.
I know it’s probably futile, but I’ll contact support just in case.
I apologize for my poor wording earlier.
I’m referring to the “Send an email” feature in Automation.
Whether using the Test feature in Automation or triggering “Send an email” from the app, when testing “Send an email” this way, the first 3-4 emails are received without issue. After that, emails stop being received.
However, the Automation monitor shows no error.
No, of course not.
Uhh, your referenced post seems related to getting a message about access being blocked - not email generation? ![]()
I am most concerned about AppSheet’s “aggressively limited email generation”. I too have seen some issues.
Blocked because of “excessive” email generation.
Ok, then are we suggesting that as a fix to unblock accounts due to EXCESSIVE emails they have limited email generations causing a secondary issue - emails not being sent at all??
My thinking is AppSheet is silently dropping the repeated emails as a means to prevent excessive email. They’re clearly making unannounced changes behind the scenes to affect email.
While checking the logs of a bot that stopped receiving emails, I noticed a warning in the image, so I’m sharing it here. However, the status shows as “Complete.”
The development environment is a free account.
Based solely on my verification, this issue occurs on free accounts but has not been confirmed on paid accounts.
Therefore, I speculate that paid accounts either have “no rate limits” or “rate limits that are not as strict as those on free accounts.”
Previously, even free accounts didn’t have such strict rate limits.
If emails stop being received after just a few sends, it’s impossible to conduct sufficient functional testing.
I consider this a “deterioration.”
I have reviewed the following content and confirmed that the document specifies restrictions on email recipients.
However, until now, there were not such strict limitations on sending emails. Particularly for free accounts, this restriction makes it impossible to conduct sufficient testing.
Could you at least increase the limit for free accounts from 5 to around 50?
Recent restriction made it impossible to base our email sending on Appsheet. We spent so many hours this week changing our mailing structure from Appsheet to GAS+Mailgun.
Lots of our clients had troubles with emails.
From Appsheet, I wanted at least an announcement for this restriction.
I understand spamming emails are serious issues but lots of businesses are operating their communications on emails and stopping it like this does seriously damage their business.
