Exactly Buddy. We live in a world full of hope and desires. But what really matters is our perspective and motive towards anything. If we desire one ranger backpack or one champion backpack, Google might or might not give it to us, but if we desire knowledge and potential, we might get 100backpacks of our wish on our own, by converting that knowledge into money in the market. And that is what I wanted to share from my side to all my disappointed buddies to realize that there is nothing to be disappointed of. Only disappoint if you came to know about this program, and you didn’t even try to start it or take advantage of it.

Anyways, thank you for your kind understanding and support in the comment section. Hope you achieve you all your dreams in your life

I truly appreciate the maturity and depth in your perspective. The way you’ve described your journey — the grind, the patience, and the personal growth — is something many of us quietly relate to, even if we don’t always express it this clearly.

You’re absolutely right: the learning, credits, and hands-on exposure we received through Arcade carry far more long-term value than any physical reward. That experience itself is something no one can take away from us.

At the same time, I believe it’s also fair for the community to openly share how they feel — respectfully, just like you did. Recognition, even when symbolic, helps close the loop on months of effort, especially for students who stay consistent across higher tiers.

On a side note, I’m not sure why your post was deleted by an admin. It was well-articulated, calm, and constructive — exactly the kind of feedback that helps a community grow. Hopefully, it gets restored or at least reaches the right eyes in some form.

Your closing thought really stands out — wishing that the #ArcadeTeam considers a bit more balance so everyone can end this season with a sense of fulfillment. That’s something most of us can stand behind.

Wishing you continued growth and success ahead.
Happy learning, happy arcading :cloud::slightly_smiling_face:

I accept it

Even I am surprised that my post got flagged. While I tried my best to keep my post genuine and fair to regulations, but I believe someone might disagree with me and may have flagged me for deviating the flow of this forum. And I don’t see any option to report this unfair flag to my post to the team.

I feel the time to reward ratio isn’t fair in this grind for such tiers as you mentioned above and this demotivates most of us arcade players.

In my opinion, these are the useful and practical swags for each Arcade Level:

  • Novice: Bottle, T-shirt
  • Trooper: Bottle, T-shirt, Backpack
  • Ranger: USB Hub
  • Champion: USB Hub, Hoodie
  • Legend: USB Hub, Hoodie, Backpack

Conclusion:

  1. Feel so sorry for Ranger :face_with_head_bandage:
  2. Hopefully, there is an option for unselecting Cloud DIY Logo, Sticker Sheet and/or Magnets in the order placement. No need replacement.

The current Arcade swag items — including the Legend backpack, Cloud DIY logo, tumbler LED lantern, laptop sleeve, hoodie, pen duo, and USB hub — are honestly disappointing overall. While one or two items may be acceptable, as a complete set they feel generic, low-impact, and not worthy of the “Legend” tier. There is nothing truly premium, exclusive, or memorable that reflects the significant effort required to reach 95 Legend points. At this level, students invest serious time in learning, building skills, and completing challenging tasks, yet the rewards do not respect or justify that dedication. The quality and usefulness of these swags feel very low for a top-tier achievement. If introducing meaningful new rewards is difficult, it would be far better to repeat or reuse Cohort 1 swags, which felt more valuable and motivating, rather than continuing with items that feel unnecessary and uninspiring. At the very least, the Legend tier should feel special, exclusive, and worth striving for. I strongly request the team to rethink the swag strategy and maintain the respect and value of students’ efforts.

Honestly this is my first time playing any game for learning and swags.

For the first time experience I’m happy with the learning material and the swags their is no issue regarding it.

Then stop giving swags interested people will join by default.

Hi @Yugali,

I just wanted to share some honest feedback.

Both this season’s and the previous season’s swags were quite disappointing. However, I do understand that the Arcade team has a very limited budget, which is probably why such low-value swags were provided. That said, participants join Arcade primarily to learn and improve their skills, but they also naturally have an expectation of good and meaningful swags along with the learning experience.

Instead of game-related or “fun” swags, it would be much more useful to offer items that actually help students and professionals in their daily or professional lives—such as digital resources or practical tools—rather than play-game items.

What’s done is done, and I know it can’t be changed now.

So I’d like to give a few suggestions for future Google Arcade seasons. One option could be to completely remove physical swags and milestone rewards altogether. The reason is that many participants play Arcade not only for learning but also with the motivation of achieving valuable rewards alongside their learning journey.

Suggestion 1:
Remove all swag milestones and catalogues, and focus only on certifications. For example, if a participant collects 100 points, they could receive a 100% free certification voucher. This would directly help them build their career and allow them to showcase their skills on social media, portfolios, and CVs.

Suggestion 2:
If swags are still necessary, then instead of fixed items, provide point-based coupons. Participants could redeem these coupons at stores where they can buy useful items like computer accessories, tech gadgets, bottles, mugs, t-shirts, bags, or even gaming accessories—giving them flexibility and real value.

I hope these suggestions are helpful and can be considered for future Arcade programs.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
