I am trying to report “quarter to date” versus the same period last year. So for my metric my date filter is “this quarter”. In the comparison date filter I have entered a start date of “Today minus 4 quarters” (which correctly assigns 1 July 2024) and an end date of “Today minus 53 weeks (starts monday)”. In the date filter pop-up this correctly shows my start and end dates (first attachment). However once I click apply the end date reverts to 30 June 2024 (2nd attachment). This is a “negative” time period so the comparison calculation breaks (blank).
I’ve been fiddling around with the number of weeks as an end date…..I can shift the date, but can’t figure out how it’s determining the date, so I’m not confident this is going to continue to work over time.
