Scheduled Reports have disappeared and those left don't work properly

In a report I setup about a dozen scheduled reports a year ago and have used them all regularly since. Most of them have just disappeared and the 1 that remains cannot be opened - spinning wheel icon forever.

It looks like a data corruption. Could someone reach out to investigate please ?

There was a lot of time invested in configuring the schedules.

Vaya lío . A ver si alguien te contacta y te ayuda. Lo siento.

No se que esta pasando esta semana, pero se esta perdiendo TODO el trabajo que teniamos en Data Studio

I am facing a similar problem. I have a report with 100+ schedules set up, and since the update, I only see one in the list, and I can’t edit it either. Has anyone found a fix for this problem yet?

The issue is still present for me.

The timing makes me wonder if it’s related to the recent announcements of Looker Studio reverting to Data Studio and the links to my Data Studio Pro reports now being in the datastudio subdomain. I expect there have been changes to make that work and perhaps this is a side effect.

It seems like the sort of thing google would be keen to fix.

I’ve only posted here - are there other ways to bring serious issues with paid products to their attention ?

I’m having the same issue. I have a daily analytics report scheduled to be sent out every day @ 2 PM EST. However, I haven’t received that scheduled report in my inbox since April 14.

In the meantime, I contacted Google Support via Google Cloud and had to subscribe to their Standard support plan to reach them. They requested log files about a week ago, but the issue is still unresolved.

At this point, it seems the most practical solution would be to duplicate the report and manually recreate all scheduled deliveries. However, I’m still waiting a bit longer in case they provide a fix.

Some good news ! My missing schedule entries have been restored.

The bad news - the recipients are visible but there is no schedule set and the entry can’t be edited - pops up a small empty window where the edit would normally occur.

So the option to full recovery might be to manually and tediously recreate new schedule entries from the data in the uneditable old ones.

I can confirm I’m experiencing the exact same issue on my side as well. The missing schedule entries have reappeared, but they are still not editable - clicking the edit button only opens the same small empty popup window.

I already reported this behavior to Support, and they told me they expect to provide an update by the end of the week.

The problems with exports are widespread and growing as people realize that what they are intending to get is far from what they get, if they get anythig at all.

Here is a bug report related to this issue. Pease upvote it to help gain some traction on it.

Actually, now it would appear that I cannot link to it anymore. Below is the bug report number, if you want to search for it.

I wonder if they will even fix this? One would think this would be a high priority task, as it literally puts out incorrect content, but at the same time, the attention to working systems seems to have been replaced with all things AI these days at Google.

Who knows at this point… After I don’t-even-know-how-many rounds of back-and-forth, they finally asked for access to my report so they could actually test the issue directly. At least that feels like some kind of progress. Also noticed their response time improved a bit — instead of the usual ~3 days, now they’re replying within about a day.

That said, I’m running out of time on my side too. If I want things to work properly again by next Monday, I’ll probably have to manually recreate 100+ scheduled deliveries myself, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by escalating this through paid support in the first place.

Quick update from Google Support:

Apparently the engineering team has finally identified the issue and implemented a fix for the blank scheduled-delivery edit dialog. The fix is being rolled out automatically, so in theory I shouldn’t have to manually recreate 100+ schedules after all.

They still don’t have an ETA for when it will reach my account, but this is the first genuinely positive update I’ve received after weeks of back-and-forth. Cautiously optimistic.

A short update from my side:

The fix has now reached my account and I can confirm the issue appears to be resolved. The scheduled delivery edit dialog is loading correctly again, and I’m able to view and modify existing schedules without any problems.

Hey szakacsmark@,

Thanks for letting us know! I’m glad to hear everything is back up and running smoothly and appreciate your patience on this.

Feel free to reach out if anything else comes up.

Maaz from the Data Studio Team.

When are you going to fix the dynamic Google Analytics source issues that have been documented all over? There seems to be zero interest in this, and it has been broken for months.
