Oauth Screen verification question

Hi.
We are having trouble with getting through verification steps for Google Auth Platform.
We keep getting rejected instantly after submitting with “Your home page URL is unresponsive.” response.

However, our homepage is live and running, with the info, policy and terms of our app easily available.
We havent got any email from the trust and safety team either and the verification is stuck at “pending developer action”
Can any one help? Thanks!

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I’m facing the same problem with home page and privacy policy URLs reported as unresponsive.

Hi @Michael_Cai,

Not meeting the requirements can slow down the verification process. Please make sure your homepage has met the listed criteria before including it in your submission. Based on Google’s official guidelines, the key is to ensure your homepage fully complies with their requirements and then update your OAuth consent screen configuration.

As stated here, If you have been flagged for an unresponsive homepage URL, follow these steps to update your Cloud Console submission with an accessible URL to your homepage:

  1. Go to the OAuth consent screen page for your project. You can find it by updating the following URL with your project ID: https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials/consent?project=[PROJECT_ID]
  2. Update the required homepage URL field.
  3. Once the URL is updated, click Prepare for verification at the bottom of the last page.
  4. On the Prepare for verification screen, confirm that the information is correct, then click Submit for verification on the final page.

For the “pending developer action”, you should reply to the last email received from api-oauth-dev-verification@google.com with the data being requested from the Verification Center.

If you are still unable to find the emails, please check that filters aren’t blocking emails from “api-oauth-dev-verification@google.com” and emails are not in the spam folder. The verification process can take several weeks to account for clarifications and re-submissions. The team’s responses may take between 5 and 7 business days.

Anyone find a solution to this? I also have an up and running website but the Verification Center keeps failing with “Your home page URL is unresponsive.“.

Please help, having my logo appear in the OAuth gives credibility to my brand.
