Hello,
I’m trying to verify my OAuth application, but the Branding Verification keeps failing with the following two issues:
- Your homepage does not explain the purpose of your app.
- The app name shown on your OAuth consent screen does not match the app name on your homepage.
I have already checked and confirmed all of the following:
- OAuth consent screen app name is exactly “Tablix”.
- The homepage logo displays Tablix.
- The HTML
<title>is Tablix. - The main
<h1>heading is “Tablix: The Modern AI Spreadsheet”. - The first paragraph immediately explains the purpose of the application:
“Tablix is an AI spreadsheet that seamlessly integrates with Google Drive to help you import, analyze, and automate your data. Clean data, write Python and SQL, generate formulas, build charts, and automate workflows with intelligent AI agents.”
- Meta title, Open Graph title, Twitter title, and (URL Removed by Staff) structured data all use the name Tablix.
- I also added a
<noscript>section so the homepage purpose is available even without JavaScript. - Homepage, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service are all publicly accessible and return HTTP 200 OK.
- Google Search Console shows the homepage is indexed.
- I verified the live production website in Incognito mode and confirmed the changes are deployed.

Despite all of this, the Branding Verification continues to return the exact same two errors before the manual review starts.
Could someone please help me understand:
- Is the automated branding checker using a cached version of my homepage?
- Is there any additional requirement that the branding checker expects but isn’t documented?
- Can someone trigger a fresh branding verification or advise what else I should check?
