OAuth Branding verification stuck: "app name doesn't match homepage" — everything confirmed matching

My OAuth consent screen branding verification keeps failing with:

“The app name ‘Finlane’ configured for your OAuth consent screen does not match the app name on your home page.”

I’ve spent several hours confirming everything below matches, and re-verified multiple times over the same evening, but the error persists unchanged:

  • App name field (Branding tab): “Finlane”
  • Homepage tag: “Finlane” (exact match)
  • application-name, og:site_name, og:title meta tags: all set to “Finlane”
  • Domain ownership: verified via Google Search Console
  • Application home page URL in Branding settings matches exactly what’s live: (URL Removed by Staff)
  • Re-verified after each change, and after waiting several hours for potential caching/crawl delay

Project ID: (PII Removed by Staff)
Homepage: (URL Removed by Staff)

I’ve found other developers hitting this exact same error with confirmed matching names, with no resolution posted (e.g. the (URL Removed by Staff) thread on this forum). Is there a known caching issue on Google’s end with this specific check, or something not covered in the standard documentation I should look at?

Any help appreciated — happy to share screenshots of the Branding config if useful.
