Okay, I also figured out how to consistently reproduce this bug on my end, at least for time series charts. The issue seems to be specifically tied to the addition of “Optional Metrics”.
Steps to reproduce:
- Create new time series
- Add a couple metrics (not sure whether the number matters here)
- Toggle optional metrics on, then add an optional metric
- Click away from chart (deselect it)
- Click to select the chart …. and viola! The properties panel is empty.
