For the past week or so, all the legends in my graphs are overlapping. Even if I go in and manually change the font to a smaller size, when I refresh the overlap returns. I used to use Auto with no issue, but there is some bug that is causing legend items to overlap on my end.
Anyone else encountering this?

I have a similar problem with all my reports, even if I manually align the labels with pixels, they overlap again when the page is reloaded and the auto dimension in Font size does not change anything. Did you somehow manage to solve this problem?
I have the same problem with legend with 2 words, with 1 word looks fine.
UPDATE: I changed the font family to something else for the legend, it’s fixed the problem.

Yes, you’re not the only one seeing this. There’s a bug in Looker Studio right now with how legends are being rendered—it’s causing text overlap even if you adjust font size manually. Setting the font smaller or switching to “Auto” only fixes it temporarily, but the issue comes back after refresh.
The only partial workaround some users found is to widen the chart container a bit so the legend has more space, but it’s not a perfect fix. Best bet is to report it through the “Send Feedback” option so Google flags it. Looks like something that’ll need a patch on their side.
