I requested a white-labeled version of my app and got the link to download the .ipa file. However, when I upload it to the Transporter app, I get the following warning:
ITMS-90725: SDK version issue - This app was built with the iOS 17.5 SDK. Starting April 24, 2025, all iOS and iPadOS apps must be built with the iOS 18 SDK or later, included in Xcode 16 or later, in order to be uploaded to App Store Connect or submitted for distribution.
Is this an issue that needs to be solved on AppSheet’s IPA file creation or can it be fixed on my side?
The issue is still here. I don’t know if there are a lot of users publishing their apps in AppStore, In our case, that is really important for us and at the moment, it is not possible to publish any Appsheet apps because of the old SDK version Appsheet use to generate the build.
We tried to contact support, I think I am still not talking to an human. Nobody seems to take this situation seriously.
I hope someone of Appsheet @lizlynch can help us with that update.
@Gil Thanks for that update. We love Appsheet and do some great apps with Appsheet BUT when we contact support, they are never able to help and/or completely do not understand the issue. It takes months and no constructive reply are made.
The community is great. We realize it is the only way to have a solution or get things done.
I hope support will be more effective in the future like it was before.
It seems to be happening again - the iOS SDK 18.0 will no longer be supported after today by Apple for white labeling. iOS 26 SDK will be required starting 4/28/2026 for App Store Distribution. Any suggestions regarding how to update the priority of this change for Appsheet? Below is the indication from Apple thta I have received:
ITMS-90725: SDK version issue - This app was built with the iOS 18.0 SDK. Starting April 28, 2026, all iOS and iPadOS apps must be built with the iOS 26 SDK or later, included in Xcode 26 or later, in order to be uploaded to App Store Connect or submitted for distribution.
