How to integrate a Vertex AI Agent Engine agent into Google Agentspace?

I’ve deployed an agent to Vertex AI Agent Engine and would like to integrate it into Google Agentspace.

I checked the official documentation, but couldn’t find any details on connecting an agent from Vertex AI Agent Engine to Agentspace.

This forum thread (https://discuss.google.dev/t/agentspace-vertex-agent-engine-integration/190881) mentions using “Configurations > Assistant > Add agent”, but when I open that page in the console, I don’t see an option to add an agent.

Could this limitation be due to:

The reason you’re not seeing the option in “Configurations > Assistant” is that management and registration of external agents (like those from Vertex AI Agent Engine), and features like the “Agent Designer,” are not yet Generally Available.

I understand these timelines may not be finalized, but even a ballpark estimate would be really helpful for planning on our side. Thanks!

Thank you for your input @Andrew_B Is there a process we can follow to be allowed access to this feature? We have several Google customers looking to publish our custom AI agents from AI engine to Agentspace. Thank you for your hard work on making this available :slight_smile:

I believe they would need to work with their Cloud sales contact for allow access.

Same situation. Unfair advert. No agent designer in gemini enterprise plus. I have gem enterpr plus subscription,business g workspace for years and apps in cloud. There is just google advertising
