Agent Designer not available (Enterprise Plus Edition)

Hello everyone.
I am currently trying to use the Agent Designer feature in Agentspace and it seems like it is not available to me. I have the Enterprise Plus license and a data source linked to my app. Is there anything else I am missing to be able to use Agent Designer?

I don’t know if that’s the case, but my GCP project is not linked to an organization. Could that be the reason why Agent Designer is not available to me? The docs are not very clear about that.

This is what I see when I go to the tab Agents in my app navigation menu (there’s no button to create a new agent):

This is my selected license:

Thanks!

Hi Vanessa,

thanks for sharing! I have exactly the same problem - no option to create agent in web app, also no option to add existing agent in Agentspace AI Application configuration, Assist tab. Everything worked in Qwiklabs, but in real deployment there is simply no option to add agents.

In my setup project belongs to organization, and has linked a billing account, Enterprise Plus Agentspace 30 days trial license. Agentspace application with some data stores configured (Workspace integration mainly) is deployed in EU region with Google Identity provider. I deployed with Global region, got same result of no custom agents available.

I could not find any information in the documentation either. Any help highly appreciated! I got stuck with Agentspace demo project because of that issue.

Attaching screenshots of Agentspace webapp and app configuration where custom agents configuration should be possible.

Hi All, I’m having the Same issue.

My Parameter is the same as Szatkowski.

Local: Global
License: free_trial_agent_space (Agentspace Enterprise Plus)
Evey API needed was enabled

How can I make the Agent Gallery available to add the personalized agents?

The Agent Designer feature to create no-code agents is currently in private preview. Contact your administrator (unless that’s you!) who can request access from your Google account team.

Is the Agent Designer/Agent Builder still in private preview after the GA launch of Gemini Enterprise? We have just set up our Gemini Enterprise Plus account and notice the Agent Designer is not available. We are also unable to access the Vertex AI Agent Builder. The console page returns a “URL not found” error. The option to build no-code agents does not show up in the Agent Gallery in Gemini Enterprise Plus, and the Agent Builder is absent from the menus in Vertex AI.

I have already performed the standard troubleshooting steps in our GCP.

Here is what I’ve tried:

  1. Confirmed the user has the “Vertex AI Administrator” IAM role.
  2. Enabled both the “Dialogflow API” and the “Vertex AI API” for the project.
  3. Checked for any restrictive Organization Policies and found none.

Since the issue persists after these steps, is it correct that the Agent Designer/Agent Builder is still in private preview and not available by default on Gemini Enterprise Plus?

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Same Issue here.Tried them all

It’s interesting because the Agent Designer seems to be GA for the Google Gemini Business tier but not for Google Gemini Enterprise (Plus). For now I have our business on both plans so we can use the Agent Designer in Gemini Business while using the more advanced features of Gemini Enterprise Plus for other tasks.

I have Google Workspace Business Standard and gemini enterprise plus. No.sign of Agent Designer. It seems as.fake advertising from.google

I’m on Gemini Enterprise Plus and don’t have access to the Agent Designer. Literally the only reason I paid for it…

Frustrating.

For our organization, the Agent Designer works here: https://business.gemini.google/, but not in Gemini Enterprise Plus.

Same for me - Same unavailability of Agent Designer, same reason I paid for it…

A quick update for anyone who might run into this: The issue with accessing Agent Designer in Gemini Enterprise Plus is now resolved for our organization. I opened a support case with Google Cloud, and a support representative was able to allowlist our account. It’s now working as expected. I hope everyone currently without access can get Agent Designer by making an allowlist request: https://console.cloud.google.com/support/cases/

Same.

Agent Designer is still in Private preview and not GA yet.

anything that you see with this icon is Private Preview.
