How are the csv files encoded in Looker?

  1. The files are encoded as utf8,
  2. The default separator is a comma.
  3. Quotes turn into quote quote and then we quote any value that contain ", the separator or LR/CF.
    so a string with " in it would become "a string with "" in it"

@rducarrouge , why do you say the default delimiter is a comma? Is there a way to select a different delimiter? We have customers asking for that.
