In Firebase Studio - Gemini Code Assist (3 pro preview) quietly stalls and stops - mid-build; no explanation. In agent mode, I see activity, then it stops, presumably because the process is finished. But it hasn’t done anything. Then, in “Ask” mode, it will apologize and then pledge to complete the process. Back to Agent mode, it will stall out - repeatedly. Not sure if Gemini 3 is overloaded, or we’ve hit token limits. This is an emergency situation.
I believe that since this tool has only been on the market for a few hours, it’s normal for issues like these to happen—everyone is using it at the same time. I experience similar problems with the new IDE, for example. So I think it’s just a matter of time until the demand stabilizes and the team can iterate on the bugs that come up during these intense days after launch.
