We would like the Gemini App to default to the most energy-efficient Gemini model (frugal model) for all users in our organization, so that we can reduce our collective environmental impact and optimize resource consumption, with the option to manage this default via the Google Admin console.

The default model selection (e.g., “Most Frugal Model”) should be a configurable setting within the Google Admin Console under the Gemini/AI services section for the organization’s domain.

The “frugal model” should be dynamically set to whichever Gemini model currently has the lowest energy/computational requirements.
