Error on setting up load balancer

I have setup sucessfully some minutes ago a load balancer with a static IP address which I created on the process.

Then I had to delete it and create it again because I forgot to enabable the redirection from http to https.

Now, when I try to createagain the load balancer I get an error saying the following:

Invalid value for field ‘resource.IPAddress’: ‘projects/core-feat-328116/global/addresses/dmaker’. Specified IP address is in-use and would result in a conflict.

And when I go to the external IP address section, this IP I created apeears as “In use by None”.

I’ve already tried creating the IP fro this window and then just ssigning it on the process of creatig the load balancer, but for some reason it doesn’t even sho up in the list of static ip addresses.

I’ve also tried deleting all these IP’s and doing the process all over again, but I still get the same message.

Hope someone can guide me on what I may be doing wrong.

Hello,

As a workaround, You can create a global external IP address then assign it with the new Load balancer. Once the global external reserved IP address is created, you can select it from the list of IP address on the load balancer front end configuration.

This is still broken. Completely new project and first lb I’ve tried to create on the project. I’m sure someone at google could spare a few minutes to fix this bug. It’s embarrassing. FYI, the thing I’m seeing that consistently causes this break/error is attempting to enable https redirect on the https frontend.

I’m still getting the same error after creating a new load balancer and enabling the HTTP redirect to HTTPS. To work with HTTPS redirection, I needed to create a HTTPS load balancer without HTTP redirection and then adding the map rules to route the HTTP to HTTPS
