Email automation saying processed but no email received

Hi All,

I have had some appsheet automation bots running for nearly a year now which send emails upon adds & edits. This has worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago where random emails that the bot monitor says have been processed without error do not get received by any of the recipients. I have checked the recipient’s email’s and all are correct, I have checked with my own IT department that they are not getting quarantined or classed as spam in the servers and they aren’t. AppSheet support doesn’t seem to know what the issue is, it’s random and intermittent. Does anyone have any experience or advice on what is causing this or is it just an issue with appsheet servers?

Kind Regards

Wes

send a picture of the monitor log

Here is monitor log for an instance where email was not received

we need to see the details

Which details are they please?

In our case several users have reported the same issue. They had to retried several times before they got the email.

Some pdfs have images that did not show in the pdf but after they hit the send but a couple of times the email pdf came email pdf came with the images.

Hello James,

Thanks for your reply but I’m not sure what you mean. I have a form entry on appsheet which upon Add or Update sends an email out based on a custom template. This isn’t a PDF attachment and does not contain any images. Could you expand on what the issues you faced please?

Our apps send an email when the user press a button with a pdf file attached. The pdf file has images in then that are pictures of the inspections.

The issue is that the email was not been sent and when it was sent the images where not shown in the pdf file.

I’m having the same issue. I have a bot that has been sending emails for the past year, and sudenly no emails are recived by any of addresses and the auidt says everything processed without error:

Hope someone can help

Please contact AppSheet Support for help with this.

AppSheet support contacted me to say there had been a filter put on in the backend that was too sensitive which was picking up emails as Spam. They confirmed this has now been resolved and I’ve seen no further issues up to now
