I am experiencing a critical eligibility issue with my personal account [PII Removed by Staff] in the Gemini Code Assist plugin for IntelliJ IDEA.
Problem Details:

The IDE displays the error: “Your current account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals, the free version of Gemini Code Assist.”

The account was working correctly until very recently.

Confirmation: I can use Gemini without issues on the web (
gemini.google.com) and on other personal Gmail accounts in IntelliJ, but my primary account is blocked. -
Probable Cause: This issue began immediately after I canceled my Google One subscription. We believe there is a conflict or delay in revalidating my account’s status back to the free individual version within the developer license system.
I urgently need the technical team to investigate and force the revalidation of my account’s eligibility at the server level for free usage within the IDE.
