Hey guys. I’m integrating Google Cloud Document AI and couldn’t find a clear answer in the documentation.
I’m not looking for legal, security, or compliance advice, and I won’t base my project’s data retention or security policies on the answers here. I’m simply trying to understand whether it’s appropriate to use the “Evaluate & Test” feature with my own sample documents during development.
When I upload a document using the “Evaluate & Test” feature in the Google Cloud Console:
- Is the uploaded document persisted anywhere after processing?
- If it is, is it accessible to members of my Google Cloud project/team, or only to the user who uploaded it?
I’m only looking for factual information about the service’s behavior.
If anyone has experience with Document AI or knows where this is documented, I’d appreciate the clarification.
