My looker report utilizes custom definitions, with data control between a variety of similar sites. Unfortunately, between two websites data, that have the same custom field name but the output table is showing a different custom field value set. Example: for Site A - custom field is ‘category’ and metrics against that value (Views, Users, Engaged Users). Now, when I switch to Site B, even though the report dimension shows ‘category’ as the desired data field, the variable values returned is pulling values from a different custom field. Making this report unusable from one site to the next.
Is there any way to get around this mismatched custom field element in a data controlled Looker report?
