I’m facing persistent issues connecting my Google Ads account to Looker Studio. Despite multiple attempts to connect using different browsers (Chrome and Edge) and revoking Google Ads access, the error message “Couldn’t fetch your list of accounts” persists.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any troubleshooting tips or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Same here.. the problem first appeared during weekend. I have access to multiple Google Ads MCC accounts and only ONE MCC (group of accounts) is affected, the others work without any issues.. I tried to reset any connection (authorization) between Looker and Google account (from within Google account settings). It did not help.
However.. this is not some new error . it happened in the past also:
I am also having the exact same issue (along with all my other team members). I went as far as creating a new user and adding to our MC and it is still not working. Really need this fixed ASAP!
I am also having this issue (along with the rest of my team). Thinking it was an issue with out Workspace permissions, I even went as far as adding a new personal gmail.com email and adding to our MC. Looker Studio is still throwing “Couldn’t fetch your list of accounts. Please try again.” when trying to add Google Ads Data Source.
One interesting finding is that I did add a personal email address and it was able to populate my personal ad accounts in the data sources. But after adding my personal email to our Agency MC it stopped working. So I’m wondering if the glitch is only occurring for users who are part of a Google Ads MC/Manager Account.
I have several different Google profiles with access to GADS accounts.. Two of them are MCC agency multi-accounts. One of them is having issues described in this thread, the other one is not having any issues at all.. and the rest of them with access to “standalone” Google Ads accounts work just fine.. .. so just to answer your question, I do not think that it is a matter of MCC multi-account
yeah! it works!! I did not even have to close a browser session or delete cache.. all of sudden it started working.. great Google. thank you very much for just yet another bug in your systems! You are screwing almost as much as Microsoft
Hello! I’m also experiencing the same connection issue with the message Couldn’t fetch your list of accounts. Please try again. The connection I’m making in Looker is with Google Ad Manager 360. I have already revoked the App’s access, reviewed the GAM permission and still the error has persisted for practically 45 days. Hopefully there will be some work to fix this error.
