Billing Account Suspended Due to Mistaken Vertex AI Quota Request – Please Help Restore Access

Hi Google Cloud Community,

I’m reaching out here because my billing account has been suspended, and I currently have no way to contact support directly due to the suspension. I sincerely hope someone from the Google Cloud team can see this and assist me.

Here’s what happened:

A few days ago, while exploring Vertex AI services, I accidentally submitted a request for a committed use quota. I misunderstood the process and did not realize that it would result in an immediate $5,000 charge upon approval.

Unfortunately, this request was approved by GCP staff, even though it was clearly an error from a new user account. I never used the quota that was granted, and had no intention to make such a large financial commitment.

As a result of this mistake, my billing account (ID: 8312-9854-6105-3920) was charged and then suspended, cutting off my access to all services — including the $300 free trial credits I was still actively using.

I want to express that this was an honest mistake on my part, and I deeply regret the confusion it caused. I never intended to misuse the platform or violate any policies.

At this point, I kindly and urgently ask the Google Cloud team to:

  1. Reverse the $25,457 charge, as the quota was never used.
  2. Reinstate my billing account so I can continue using the services.
  3. Restore my $300 free trial credits, if possible.

I’ve tried to find a way to contact official support, but due to the account suspension, I’m unable to submit a support ticket or get in touch via normal channels. This forum is my only option right now.

If any staff member or community expert can help escalate this issue or point me in the right direction, I would be extremely grateful.
