So he have updated our DNS server to have entry for an internal server abc.com. Apigee edge cloud is invoking abc.com using service call out.We have verified google’s DNS server has updated entry but connection from Apigee are still timing out while trying to reach abc.com. The error we get is “connection timedout at service call out” We suspect Apigee’s DNS server doesn’t have updated host entry yet as TTL for dns entry is 3600 secs. Any ides on how long can it take for Apigee DNS server to update its DNS table/entries ?

Also is there any way to get fqdn of DNS server Apigee cloud uses ?

As you already may know - DNS updates might take time depending on the server/network - pls reach out to support, they can check if abc.com is resolving to the correct address, if its - then if its reachable from apigee etc.

Have you tried invoking the endpoint abc.com from the internet? Are you able to access that independent of Apigee to make sure its reacheable?
