Advanced API Security
-
IP allowlisting: To mitigate false positives in Abuse Detection, Advanced API Security now supports adding IP addresses and CIDR ranges to detection exclusion lists.
-
Customers can proactively add IP addresses to detection exclusion lists during penetration tests, for example, or reactively add them if they notice internal IPs being flagged as potential abuse (though note that you should also make sure that your client IP resolution is properly configured).
-
Check out our recent blog post in the Apigee Community forum about this feature and other new features in AAS.

-
Anomaly explanations: When an IP is flagged as potentially abusive by our Advanced Anomaly Detection ML model, customers will now be able to see a clear reason why the model flagged that IP, and get a link directly to in-context ingress access logs to investigate.
