Apigee

MCP is evolving to be the standard for Agents using tools. On Friday November 14th Apigee launched the private preview of Apigee’s MCP Server. Customers will get an MCP Server that’s completely managed and integrated with Apigee. Apigee can then add enterprise capabilities for managing MCP endpoints (think: security, governance, monitoring). Ask your Apigee contact about the private preview if you’re interested!

There is an alternative MCP solution published by Miguel Mendoza; demonstrating how you can use the apigee-go-gen tool to transform any REST API into a MCP proxy

You can now set quotas at the API product level, to limit the number of requests all API proxies in the API product can process within a specified time frame. Check the documentations for more information and instructions.

With the new feature Troubleshoot Failed Executions using AI, Gemini helps analyze failed execution logs, determine root causes, and suggest remedies.

A new Apigee API hub connector is now in preview, check it out to help write plugins and extensions to extend API hub.

Is there also some Azure API Management in the landscape? Well, you can now ingest the metadata of APIs into API hub using a helpful pre-built Application Integration template
