Apigee and API Hub

The goal of API Hub is to catalog all your APIs, wherever they are. It is a strategic component that helps you analyze and secure APIs wherever they are managed (even outside of Apigee), control and expose them to LLM/MCP/Agents, and much more. This month, we’ve gathered several recordings and use cases for you to learn about it

Advanced API Security

Shadow API discovery is now supported for all Google Cloud network projects!

  • You can now run API observation jobs in Google Cloud network projects where your L7 Application load balancers are configured.
  • You can then attach those GCP projects to your central Apigee API hub instance to view results and automatically compare them to cataloged APIs in API hub.
  • This feature has been in high demand from customers. Please test this feature out while it’s in Public Preview; share with your customers; and let us know if you have any feedback! View documentation here.
  • Note: In 2026+, we do plan to expand Shadow API discovery to other clouds and non-GCP environments. If you have a customer requesting this, please reach out and let us know.
