Access to Google Cloud Platform has been restricted. why?

My Google Cloud Platform services have been restricted while I was using the Gemini API. We have been making batch calls to the Gemini API from our system, and we are unsure of the reason for this restriction. We would like to request that you lift this restriction.

Hello @Eduzone,

You have to use the button Submit an objection to contest the suspension.

Hey @LeoK,

Same thing has happened with my account as you can see.

I have already submitted two appeals but there has been no response.

I have read the policies and I believe my account has not been engaged in any sort of policy violating activities.

So please take a look at this matter and help me resolve it so I can proceed with my ongoing projects.

Thanks and regards.

I’ve had a similar restriction since July 31st 2025. Have submitted multiple appeals, but without a response.

I am in the same boat. I have filed five appeals, but I have received no response from Google, and there is no way to escalate the issue. I have many projects utilizing the Gemini solutions, and this restriction has rendered them all unusable. I am a paying customer in good standing. Worst of all, there is no information about what exactly I violated.

My GCP access got restricted three weeks ago, all services stopped, and I don’t know what may have triggered it.

I tried submitting an appeal 4-5 times and emailed google-compliance directly, but haven’t received any response yet.

I’m very worried because I have other projects running on GCP, and the lack of transparency and communication are just nerve-wrecking. It makes it really hard to keep using Google Cloud products when you’re left completely in the dark like this.

I’m unable to purchase premium support at the moment to try to escalate this, which is frustrating. I’m seriously considering migrating all my products out of GCP because it’s too risky to keep running online businesses like this.

Does anyone know how to move forward?

Hello Google Cloud Community,

I am reaching out regarding a service restriction placed on my account, as indicated in the screenshot I’m referencing. The core issue is that my access to an entire Google Cloud service has been blocked with little to no specific information provided as to why this restriction has been issued.

The notification directs me to “Review service restriction,” but the lack of detail on the alleged policy violation or “abusive activities” makes it incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to address or appeal the situation effectively.

  • Has anyone else experienced a sudden, full service restriction with minimal explanation?

  • What was the most effective way you found to get a detailed reason for the restriction?

  • If you successfully submitted an appeal, what key information did you include to help the compliance team understand your use case, especially when the initial details from Google are so vague?

Any guidance on navigating this appeals process, particularly when an entire service is unavailable due to an un-specified policy violation, would be greatly appreciated. I am committed to following all Google Cloud Terms of Service and need a clear explanation to resolve this.

I’m having the same problem. If you found a solution, please suggest it to me. I have submitted numerous appeals, but I have received no response from Google, and there is no clear way to escalate the issue. Thanks
