I am preparing to publish a paid Google Sheets Editor add-on through Google Workspace Marketplace as an individual/sole proprietor based in Jamaica.
The Marketplace configuration requires traders to provide a developer mailing address described as “the location of your business” and a valid address where the developer can be contacted.
Could someone confirm whether any of the following are acceptable for this requirement?
-
A Jamaica Post P.O. Box that can receive domestic and international mail through the postal network.
-
A commercial mailbox or virtual business address where I am authorized to receive mail.
-
My residential address, provided it is not displayed publicly.
I operate entirely online and do not meet customers at a physical location. I am not creating a Google Business Profile or Google Maps listing.
I would particularly like to know:
-
Which address types Google Workspace Marketplace accepts for an individual trader.
-
Whether the trader mailing address is displayed publicly to customers.
-
Whether Google may require proof that I am authorized to use the address.
-
What documents would be acceptable as proof.
I have reviewed the Marketplace developer documentation, but it does not appear to define whether a P.O. Box or commercial mailbox is acceptable.
Thank you.
