Why AppSheet Should Prioritize Embedding Web Apps and Google Workspace Tools

AppSheet, a powerful no-code app development platform, is currently at the forefront of enabling users to quickly and efficiently create custom applications. However, to maintain and enhance its competitive edge, it is crucial for AppSheet to introduce the ability to embed web apps and Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio, and PDF view directly into its platform.

Looking at competitors like Microsoft PowerApps, Larkbase, Airtable, and Monday, they have long integrated this feature, allowing users to build not just all-in-one applications but also seamlessly connect and interact with external platforms. This advancement significantly increases flexibility and optimizes the user experience.

If AppSheet does not prioritize this enhancement soon, it risks falling behind in the fast-evolving no-code technology landscape. Embedding tools from Google Workspace would enable AppSheet to fully leverage the power of the Google ecosystem, providing a superior experience for users, particularly those already familiar with Google’s tools. This would open up new opportunities and help retain loyal users and attract a wider customer base.

In a rapidly advancing tech environment, staying ahead requires proactive innovation, and adding these embedding capabilities will be a critical step in ensuring AppSheet remains a top player in the no-code space.

I completely agree with the expressed viewpoint. Upgrading AppSheet by integrating web apps and Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Docs, Looker Studio, and PDF view would significantly enhance its functionality. This feature would not only save users time but also improve interaction and data sharing between applications.

When users can directly access and edit documents within the AppSheet environment, it creates a more seamless experience, reducing the need to switch between platforms. Furthermore, this integration would encourage creativity in app development, allowing users to build more robust custom solutions tailored to their specific needs. This move would not only enhance work efficiency but also solidify AppSheet’s position as a leading no-code platform, enabling better customization and optimization of the app development process.

Couldn’t agree more!

I’ve always dreamed of being able to use a Data Studio visualizations inside an app.

Appsheet asked me, “Did it solve your problem?” through email every day. But I didn’t receive any feedback from team Dev.

Yep, not daily for me, as I gave up to report to the support desk, as it 100% results in vain. We receive such message, but we are not sure which issue (report) they are mentioning, so I naturally delete such mails as spam.
