What is the recommended migration path for WP sites from WPEngine (hosting provider) to GCP?

I have around 5-10 WP sites that are hosted on WP Engine and I am looking to migrate to GCP. What is the recommended migration path? I am planning to use one of several GCP marketplace WP image. Also for the data transfer and the actual WP codebase do i need to setup hybrid connectivity?

Thanks @MaxImbrox the link that you sent migrates to GKE, we are interested in a lift and shift meaning VM to VM migration.

Source is WPEngine , they are a 3rd party hosting provider @MaxImbrox

I think that the best approach is to make an initial assessment to evaluate the as-is environment, and then use the 7R approach in order to understand if the Lift&Shift approach is the right one.
