What is best practice to generate server CSRs for vhost server certs? Is this done by client or Apigee support?

Apigee does not prefer to generate CSR’s and would urge customers to send their certs via an encrypted way i.e. gpg encryption. The reason is because when CSR’s are generated there is an overhead of storing the private keys and this can be avoided.

Apigee no longer creates a CSR for clients. It’s mentioned in the doc below:
