Vertex AI Search Analytics - user search queries

Hello,
I have a Vertex AI Search application that we’re integrating via the widget. I’d like to be able to access all user search queries, to be able to track popular queries over time. However, the Analytics dashboard only provides the Top 100 Search Queries by Search Count. As far as I can tell, Vertex AI Search for commerce provides options for exporting analytics data into BigQuery - but regular Vertex AI Search doesn’t seem to provide any comparable options. Is there any way for me to export, or at least access, all user search queries (via the widget) in Vertex AI Search over time?

You’re right, Vertex AI Search for Commerce directly supports exporting analytics data to BigQuery. On the other hand, based on the official documentation for Vertex AI Search, viewing analytics does not include a native method to directly export data. The available methods for monitoring Vertex AI Search include viewing analytics, monitoring API methods, tracking long-running operations, and audit logging.

Upon checking, there is already an existing feature request for similar functionality regarding analytics export, similar to Vertex AI Search for Enterprise. With this, you can share your feedback by commenting on the bug report and upvoting it.
